This work deals with the temporality of our human existence and questions a state of suspension of an ephemeral present. It acknowledges the many dimensions of a walking life and our inevitable connection with death.
Flaming June is a departure of the painting with the same name, by Sir Fredrick Leighton (1895), and comes to life through the performances of four contemporary artists: Nyugen Smith, Sandrine Schaeffer, Kelly Long and Veronica Casado-Hernandez.
